SEO
SEO, starting with
an honest answer.
Every engagement starts with an audit that tells you whether your site
is ready for SEO, and whether SEO is worth it for your business at all.

The problem
Most SEO is
hard to trust
You pay every month. You get a report full of numbers you can’t read. Six months in, you still can’t tell whether it’s working, or whether anyone checked that SEO could work for your business in the first place.
I do it the other way around: check first, measure from a baseline, and report in plain English.
Part 1 · The audit
The SEO Audit,
$1,250
The roadmap is yours to keep, whether you hire me or someone else. Most audits take about two weeks, and less if you can share access and information quickly.
You get
A verdict on whether your site is ready for SEO
Green, yellow or red.
A plain-English report
Every finding comes with what’s causing it
and what it’s costing you.A prioritized roadmap
Ordered by what will make the biggest difference first.
A baseline
Of your current traffic, rankings and conversions,
so later results can be proven.A walkthrough call
Where I go through the findings and recommend a path forward.
If SEO can’t pay off, you get your money back.
Before the full audit starts, I check whether there’s enough search demand in your market for a business your size to win. If there isn’t, I stop there and refund the audit, minus payment processing fees.
The verdict
How the
verdict works
I check four things:
1. Can Google find and read your site?
I check whether Google can reach every page, load them quickly on a phone, and understand how the site is organized. If it can’t, nothing else I do will show up. Small problems here are a fix list (yellow). A site built so badly that it has to be rebuilt first is red.
2. Does your site say what your customers are searching for?
I check whether you have a page for each service and location you want work from, and whether each page matches what people actually type. A missing or muddled page is fixable by writing it (yellow). A site with the wrong structure for your services is more likely red.
3. Can customers find and trust you locally?
I check your Google Business Profile, whether your name, address and phone match everywhere, and your reviews. This is the fastest win for most local businesses, so problems here rarely hurt the verdict by themselves.
4. Is there work here you can win?Checked first
I look at what your customers search, who already ranks, and whether a business your size can realistically compete. I check this first. If the answer is yes, the other three decide yellow versus green. If it’s no, the audit stops there and you get a refund, minus processing fees.
What decides the color
Green
All four are sound. We go straight to a Growth Plan.
Yellow
There are problems, but I can fix them without rebuilding the site.
Red
The problem is the site itself, so a rebuild comes first.
No color
If there isn’t enough work to win, there’s no color and no Growth Plan, just a refund.
$500 credit
If your verdict is yellow or red, $500 of the audit goes toward the fixes, as long as you start within 90 days. The audit overlaps with discovery work, and I won’t charge you twice for it.
Part 2 · The Growth Plan
Growth Plan,
from $1,500
a month
Ongoing SEO built from your audit. Pricing depends on how competitive your market is and how much content it takes to compete. There’s a 6-month minimum, because SEO takes months to show results, and I’d rather tell you that now. After that, you can stop with 30 days’ notice.

What the Growth Plan
includes each month
Scope scales with your market and competition, but every month covers these:
Local visibility
Google Business Profile posts, photos and Q&A, review requests and responses, and clean-up of your listings so your name, address and phone match everywhere.
Content
At least one new or refreshed page a month, written to target the searches that bring you work, then published and submitted to Google.
Technical health
A monthly check that Google can find and read your site, with issues fixed, or scoped if they need more work.
Authority
One or two legitimate local mentions or links, from places like local organizations, suppliers and press. No bought links.
AI search
Behind-the-scenes labels and consistency checks that help AI tools like Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT understand your business and cite it.
Monitoring
Rankings, competitors and the numbers behind them, with next month’s plan adjusted to match.
How results are reported
A monthly report that takes two minutes to read: a one-glance summary of how you’re doing against your starting numbers, then a plain-English note on what moved, what didn’t, why, and what changes next.
- Calls, inquiries and form fills. The top line.
- The searches that bring you work, and how you’re moving on them against your audit baseline.
- Local visibility: how your Google Business Profile is performing and how often you show up in the map results.
- Visits to your service and location pages.
- AI search presence.
- What I did, and what’s next.
Before Orion Digital, I spent six years making sure Fortune 100
companies could trust their data. Your baseline and your
monthly numbers get the same care.
Who SEO is for
Is SEO a fit?
This is for you if
This isn’t for you if
- You need leads next week. That’s a job for paid ads, and I’ll say so.
- You want ranking guarantees. Nobody can honestly give you one.
- Nobody searches for what you sell, or the results are locked up by competitors a site can’t realistically beat. If that’s the case, the audit stops early and you get your money back.
FAQ
Common questions
Can you do SEO on a site you didn’t build?
Yes. The audit tells me whether your current site can support SEO. If it can’t, you’ll know exactly why, and the roadmap is yours either way.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee a ranking. What I can promise is a baseline at the start, so you can see exactly what changed.
Why does the Growth Plan have a 6-month minimum?
SEO takes months to show results. A shorter commitment would mean paying for the slow part and leaving before the payoff.
What if SEO won’t work for my business?
Then you won’t pay for a full audit. I check your market first, and if there isn’t enough work to win, I stop and refund the audit, minus payment processing fees.
What if my site gets a red verdict?
The site needs a rebuild before SEO can work. The $500 credit applies if you rebuild with me within 90 days, and the roadmap goes with you if you don’t.
